Genuine Brazilian wish ribbons

"Sehnor de Bonfim" ribbons come from the province of Bahia ,Brazil.

Called "Fitas" in Brazil, they were originally tied to church's doors and railings to grant faithful's prayers.

Since then, they became real fashion accessories.

Tied to wrists and ankles making three knots and three wishes,  They fall by themselves a few months later and wishes come true !

According to Brazilian people, anybody can give its own signification to ribbon's color : 

WHITE : Health

ORANGE : Happiness

BLUE : Prosperity

RED : Love

GREEN : Business
